NCCO7 Conference Memories

What an amazing 3 days in Baton Rouge, Louisiana!  Phenomenal musical productions, decadent food, and new friendships were the foundation for a successful NCCO Conference.  Bravi, NCCO board members!

We heard unique pieces from Filipino composers, saw perfectly coordinated choir-wide percussion and “choir-ography”, heard haunting harmonies and were taught from the most relevant and brilliant conductors in the business.  We watched the masters at work.

Our kind host, Louisiana State University, helped everything to flow perfectly and treated us to a powerfully evocative performance of “Considering Matthew Shepard” in their beautiful Student Union Theater.

To all of our friends, new and old, we thank you for your fellowship- we look forward to working with all of you on your 2019 performance tours and travel needs.  Come see us next at the “Texas Music Educators Association” conference in San Antonio next February- we’ll work on our Southern Drawl… Thanks, Y’all!

  • Was so great to meet you and your team, Sean. Thanks for supporting NCCO and, specifically, Dr Ann Howard Jones, one of our 2017 featured artists. It was great to hang out a bit and I’m already counting the days to U of Maryland in 2019!

    Aloha 😉
