Sean Berg, Founder & Executive Director

Sean is in his 23rd year of serving as a Performance Tour and Festival Manager, having started his journey in New York City producing festivals at historic Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center. In 2012, he established Sechrist Travel in order to continues his work with customized experiences and in February 2014, Sean relocated to the Seattle, WA area.

Sean received his Bachelor of Arts in Music Education from Clarke University (Dubuque, IA) and his Master of Music in Choral Conducting from East Carolina University (Greenville, NC).

In addition to coordinating music festivals and performance tour opportunities to qualified bands, choirs, and orchestras to international and domestic destinations, Sean is also the founding Artistic Director and Conductor of the Mill Creek Chorale, a 100-voice adult community choir. During his tenure in New York City, Sean also served as the Artistic Director of The Celebration Singers of New Jersey from 2001 to 2013. He has also served as Director of Choirs at Dowling High School (Des Moines, IA) and the LaGuardia High School of Performing Arts (NYC).

Ensembles under his direction have performed at Carnegie Hall (NYC), Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center (NYC), Orchestra Hall (Chicago), The National Cathedral (Washington, DC), St. Patrick’s Cathedral (Dublin, Ireland), and NotreDame de Paris (cathedral church in Paris). His ensembles have also enjoyed International Performance Tours throughout Central Europe and the United Kingdom.
